Dr. Alex Tam’s journey to becoming a chiropractor started when he attended the University of California in Davis, just a short 15 mins away from Vacaville where he now practices. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Biology. During his time at UCD,, he fell in love with the holistic, drug-free approach of chiropractic after interning at a chiropractic clinic for 6 months and decided to pursue a career as a chiropractor.

Dr. Tam received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, Ca. During his time there, his main focus was to take care of patients with compassion and respect and spent over a year taking care of the people of the community. There, he made another career-altering discovery: NUCCA ( National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association, www.nucca.org), a highly specialized and respected chiropractic technique. Through using this technique, he had helped many people who suffered from a multitude of ailments get well and stay well as well as guided them to live and maintain a healthy lifestyle. He is one of only about 400 NUCCA practitioners in the world.
